Yes she is wounded and broken but enter in Hector “Oh my God” Chavez and he helps her see the real Sadie and bring her out. But that’s not Sadie she tackles what life throws at her with strength and determination like no other Rock Chick yet. And who would blame her, rape is terrible. It’s okay if I don’t wake up because there’s no one to care.” – Sadie The book starts of right away with rape and I know what you’re thinking it’s going to be a downer she is going to be broken and upset and not a fun character. “It only matters if there’s someone to care if you don’t wake up. ![]() Who never lets anyone close because she never knew if they were there for her or to get to her father. So she protects herself with armor, whether that’s designer clothes or the facade of Sadie the Ice Princess. She hasn’t had a real genuine friend all her life. No real affection after the passing of her mother. Sadie isn’t your average every day girl, she grew up with a father who was head of crime and drugs. This book made me cry and tear up multiple times and not just once but every time I re read it. I mean we get Hector “Oh my God” Chavez! Jumps up and down… I mean really! Sadie and Hector’s story: This story by far is the most emotional for me, not to say the other books didn’t have their fair share of emotions. Yep, I have 2 because I like them both in different ways. ![]() ![]() I CAN’T CHOOSE! TIE FOR MY FAVORITE OF THE SERIES. ![]()
